Delivered at Green Oak in Lewes, the Crossfields Integrative Education Diploma is taught over 2 years through a programme of interdisciplinary topics. Students are assessed through written assignments, reflective journals, artefacts, presentations & performances.

About the event

What if exams aren’t the best way for your teenager to show what they can do? Is the first year of GCSE's not working for your teenager?

Some young people thrive in an exam hall. Others understand their subjects deeply but struggle with the pressure of proving two years of learning in a couple of hours.

At Green Oak, students aged 14–16 can study towards the Crossfields Institute Integrative Education Diploma: an Ofqual-regulated qualification assessed through projects and a portfolio of work rather than final exams.

Learning connects subjects that are often taught separately. Students can explore themes across science, humanities, literature, art and performance, while developing skills in critical thinking and independent learning.

An Independent Project also gives each student the opportunity to explore a subject they genuinely care about in greater depth.
