Admissions Process

Green Oak home education groups.

All applicants are required to complete the admissions process prior to joining.

Home Education

We are dedicated to nurturing the minds of home-educated children through our Green Oak Home Ed Waldorf-inspired curriculum. Our part-time program offers up to 16.5 hours of structured tuition each week, providing essential support to parents as they design their home education timetable.

While our tuition is designed to enrich your child’s learning experience, it is important to note that Green Oak Home Ed is not intended to fulfill the entirety of a child's educational needs.

Please note as we are not a school we can NOT be named in any EHCP but we DO accept EOTAS.

Application

We suggest that you first visit our provision by attending one of our Open Tour Mornings. You will have the opportunity to see the groups in action and ask any questions you may have.

We then invite you to apply for a place for your child(ren) by completing our Online Application Form.

Your child will then be offered a paid week trial to see if our provision is suitable, (trial cancellations will incur £100.00 cancellation fee)

The acceptance of an application is determined by the provision being able to tutor and develop the prospective student to the best of their potential. We reserve the right to decline to offer a place on grounds of the provision not having the resources to meet the child's needs. You will be notified of this decision within two working weeks of the trial.

Upon completing the registration process, you will be charged a £100.00 non returnable registration fee, all subsequent termly payments are to be made full and in advance, Failure to do so may result in late payment fees and your child losing their place in the group.

We require half a terms notice to withdraw your child from our setting.

Fees

Group Termly Fee

Maple 8-9yrs £2200.00 per term

Silver Birch 9-11yrs £2200.00 per term

Redwood 11-13yrs £2200.00 per term

Ash 14-16yrs *£2900.00 per term

Please be aware that if you join partway through a term, your fees for that term will be calculated on a weekly basis.

(The academic year is based on 36 weeks of provision).

*Crossfields Institute IE qualifications charge included in these fees

- Ash - Extended Diploma £380 per learner

Payment Terms

Please note we accept the following payment terms:

Annually in advance
Termly in advance
Half termly payments offered on a discretionary basis only

Payments are to be made termly in full and in advance, Failure to do so may result in late payment fees and your child losing their place in the group.

The payment due date is stated on the invoice, if payment is not made by that due date a £10.00 daily fee will be added until payment is made in full.

Additional Charges

Registration Fee £100.00 per new student *non refundable

Trial Week £167.00 per week per student *cancellation fee £100.00

Extra Admin Services £80.00 per hour (reports to the local authority, assessments etc...)

To withdraw your child from Green Oak Home Ed, please complete the Leavers Form in line with the following notice period:
